Definition
The specific conditions a deliverable must meet before it's considered approved. Example: "Homepage loads in under 3 seconds, passes WCAG AA accessibility, and matches the approved mockup."
Why It Matters
Reduces vague feedback and stops "done" from meaning something different to every person. If the deliverable meets the criteria, it's approved — new requests beyond criteria are change orders.
