Pipedrive has one of the clearest pipeline UIs in CRM — built for reps moving deals stage to stage. Most Pipedrive buyers are sales-led; they still need somewhere to deliver work, track billable hours, and send invoices after the deal closes.
If you run an agency or consultancy, these five tools fit a different job than CRM-only Pipedrive. For a head-to-head feature table, see our Corcava vs Pipedrive comparison.
The five alternatives
1. Corcava
Built for the gap Pipedrive leaves open: won deals become projects, time rolls into invoices, and Project Finances tracks client vs team cashflow. Keeps pipeline CRM without bolting on three subscriptions after close.
Typical buyer: 5–50 person agency also evaluating PSA-style workflows.
2. Teamwork.com
Agency-native PM with time tracking and billing closer to delivery than Pipedrive’s sales-only model. Pair with a lighter CRM or accept thinner pipeline depth than Pipedrive.
3. Scoro
Full PSA: projects, finances, and reporting in one system. Heavier and pricier than Corcava; strong when you want Pipedrive-level rigor plus billing in a single PSA category.
4. Accelo
Mature professional-services automation with sales, delivery, time, and invoicing. Quote-based pricing and a steeper learning curve than leaner tools — compare on retainer automation needs.
5. Monday.com
Highly visual boards for client work. Monday CRM is a separate product; invoicing still usually lives elsewhere. Good when customization matters more than native billing.
