Better Line Items and Invoicing

We've improved how you create and edit invoices so you can focus on billing, not busywork.

What's New

Line items modal — Open the line items editor from any draft invoice to add, edit, or remove lines in one place. Set description, quantity, unit price, and quantity type per line.

Quantity types — Each line item can use a quantity type that fits what you're billing: hours (for time-based work), units (for products or fixed deliverables), or other types. Totals and reports use these consistently.

Client on invoice — Invoices are clearly tied to a client so currency, contact details, and payment history stay in sync. Choose the client when creating or editing a draft.

Payment handling — Record and track payments from the invoice or payments view. Partial payments and status updates keep your books accurate.

Where to Find It

Go to Invoicing (or Finance → Invoices), create or open a draft invoice, then use Line items (or Edit line items) to open the line items modal. Set quantity type and client as you build the invoice.
