Add your own fields to capture the data that matters to your business.

Create a custom field

  1. Open Custom Fields.
  2. Enter a field name and choose a type (text, number, boolean, date).
  3. Select where the field applies (e.g., contacts, deals, projects) when available.
  4. Save.

Use custom fields

  • New fields appear on relevant forms so you can fill them in.
  • Values are stored with the related records and shown in views where supported.

Tips

  • Keep names short and clear so teammates and clients understand them.
  • Choose the field type that best matches the data you expect.
