Client Chat

Overview

Chat with your clients directly inside Corcava. Clients can message your team from the Client Portal, and your team replies from the Chat page.

Access

  • Clients: Client Portal → Chat
  • Team: App → Chat

How it works

  • Real‑time messaging: Messages appear instantly for both sides.
  • Unread indicators: See new client messages and last message previews in the chat list.
  • Contact history: Client chats are linked to the contact and appear in their activity timeline.
  • Archiving: Close inactive threads to keep your list tidy (team users).

Best practices

  • Use a dedicated chat per client company/contact to keep topics organized.
  • Keep messages concise and actionable; follow up with meetings when needed.
