What user roles and permissions are available?
Corcava includes role-based access control with several built-in roles: Super Admin, Organization Manager, Project Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Representative, Project Viewer, and User. Each role has specific permissions and capabilities. You can assign roles to team members to control what they can see and do within the platform.
How do I add and manage team members?
Team owners and Organization Managers can add team members by inviting them via email. Once invited, you can assign roles, add them to specific projects, set billing and pay rates, and control their access to various parts of the platform. Team member seats are charged monthly based on your subscription.
Can I track team member pay rates separately from bill rates?
Yes, Corcava has a comprehensive pay rate system separate from billing rates. You can manage team member pay rates with full history tracking and project-specific overrides. This is essential for accurate cost tracking, profitability analysis, and payroll management.
Can I set up approval workflows for team-generated invoices?
Yes! Corcava includes team invoice approval workflows. You can configure approval requirements for invoices generated by your team, set granular permission controls to determine who can approve, and receive automatic notifications when invoices need approval. This is perfect for agencies that need oversight on client billing.
Can team members receive automated daily reports?
Yes, Corcava sends automated daily performance summaries to team members. The reports are timezone-aware so everyone receives them at the right local time. They show what was accomplished, what's in progress, and where help is needed - all compiled automatically without manual work.
How do I track team activity and productivity?
The team activity insights feature shows how your team is spending time over the last 30 days. You can identify productivity patterns, spot bottlenecks, track who's working on what, monitor utilization patterns, and make data-driven decisions about resource allocation.
Can team members upload profile photos?
Yes, team members can upload profile photos that appear throughout the platform. This includes avatars on tasks, in chat, on reports, and across the interface. Profile photos make it easier to see at a glance who's working on what and humanize team collaboration.
Can I set weekly work hour targets for team members?
Yes! You can set weekly target hours for each team member when editing their user profile. This is perfect for managing full-time employees (typically 40 hours), part-time workers, or contractors with different schedules. Team members see their progress towards their weekly target in their dashboard and email reports, complete with visual progress bars. Managers can track which team members are on track to meet their targets.
Can managers receive team-wide email reports?
Yes! Team owners and organization managers automatically receive daily and weekly team reports. The daily team summary shows yesterday's team activity with progress bars for members who have targets. The weekly team summary includes a complete week recap and lists team members who didn't meet their weekly targets. These reports help you start each day and week informed about team productivity.
Can I turn off the automated email reports?
Yes! All email reports can be individually enabled or disabled in Settings → Notification Settings. You can choose to receive only daily reports, only weekly reports, both, or neither. Team managers can independently control their personal reports and team reports. All reports are enabled by default but you have complete control over which emails you receive.
