30-Day Outreach Improvement Plan
Go from ad-hoc outreach to a measurable system in 30 days. This plan breaks into four weeks: setup and hygiene, follow-up discipline, proposal quality and targeting, then reporting and experiments.
How to Use This Plan
One week at a time. Complete the deliverables before moving on. Track the metrics so you can see what moves.
Week 1: Setup + Hygiene
Goals
Pipeline is set up. Stages and outcomes are defined. Data is clean enough to trust.
Deliverables
Metrics to Track
Active record count (after cleanup). Hygiene score (see Data Hygiene guide).
Week 2: Follow-Up Discipline
Goals
Every active lead has a next follow-up date. You work the queue daily. Nothing slips.
Deliverables
Metrics to Track
Follow-ups due vs completed. Overdue count (target: 0). Response time to replies.
Week 3: Proposal Quality + Targeting
Goals
Proposals are clear and consistent. You're pursuing qualified leads, not everything.
Deliverables
Metrics to Track
Proposals sent. Reply rate. % of pipeline that meets qualification criteria.
Week 4: Reporting + Experiments
Goals
You review pipeline weekly. You run one small experiment and decide keep or revert.
Deliverables
Metrics to Track
Weekly: new leads, proposals sent, follow-ups completed, response rate, win rate. Experiment: before vs after on chosen metric.
What Should Move by Week
Week 1
Active count may drop (cleanup). Hygiene score should hit 5/5.
Week 2
Overdue follow-ups → 0. Response time to replies should improve.
Week 3
Reply rate may improve (better targeting + proposals). Pipeline quality up.
Week 4
You have a number for win rate and response rate. One experiment in the log.
