AI Assistant Integration (MCP)

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. With Corcava's MCP server, your AI assistant becomes aware of your project management context.

Supported AI Assistants

• Claude Desktop - General AI assistant for writing, planning, and analysis
• Cursor - AI-powered code editor
• Windsurf - AI coding assistant
• Continue - Open-source AI coding assistant

What Your AI Can Do

Read Context

• Get full task details including description, comments, and dates
• View board structure and column status
• Check project information and related boards

Take Actions

• Create new tasks through conversation
• Update task status and move between columns
• Add comments to tasks
• Start and stop time tracking

Example Conversations

With Claude Desktop:

• "What tasks are due this week?"
• "Create a task to follow up with Acme Corp about the proposal"
• "Start tracking time on my current task"

With Cursor:

• Share a task link: "Help me implement this feature"
• "What are the requirements for task #123?"
• "Add a comment that I've completed the API changes"

Getting Started

1. Go to Settings → Integrations
2. In the Public API section, click Add API Key
3. Copy your new API key
4. Configure your AI assistant with the Corcava MCP server URL and your API key
