Cursor Integration
Connect Cursor IDE with Corcava for usage visibility in the Coding Report and for task context and time tracking from the editor via MCP.
What You Get
1. Cursor usage and spend in the Coding Report
When you connect your Cursor Admin API key in Settings → Integrations → Cursor, the Coding Report can show Cursor usage and spend alongside time tracking and Git activity. You can map Cursor users to your GitHub/GitLab team so the report attributes activity correctly.
2. Task context and time tracking from the editor (MCP)
Add the Corcava MCP server and your Corcava API key to ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Your AI assistant in Cursor can then read task details, create or update tasks, start and stop time tracking, and add comments—all without leaving the editor. See AI Assistant Integration (MCP) and the Cursor setup guide for step-by-step configuration.
Getting Started
- For the Coding Report: Go to Settings → Integrations, connect Cursor, and add your Cursor Admin API key. Then open Reports → Coding Report to see usage and spend.
- For the editor: Create a Public API key under Settings → Integrations → Public API, then add the Corcava MCP server and your API key to
~/.cursor/mcp.json. Follow the MCP quickstart or Cursor client guide for details.
