- Clients: Client Portal → Chat
- Team: App → Chat
- Real‑time messaging: Messages appear instantly for both sides.
- Unread indicators: See new client messages and last message previews in the chat list.
- Contact history: Client chats are linked to the contact and appear in their activity timeline.
- Archiving: Close inactive threads to keep your list tidy (team users).
- Use a dedicated chat per client company/contact to keep topics organized.
- Keep messages concise and actionable; follow up with meetings when needed.
