Overview #

Understand your business performance with clear totals for what you spent internally and what you billed to clients, plus quick access to uninvoiced amounts.

What you can measure #

  • Total Spent (internal): Team cost based on user pay rates for the selected period.
  • Total Billed (external): Billable value based on project/user bill rates for the selected period.
  • Uninvoiced amounts:
  • – Uninvoiced to clients: Work completed that hasn’t been invoiced to clients yet. – Uninvoiced from team: Internal cost for completed work that isn’t yet invoiced internally.

    Where to see these metrics #

  • Reports page
  • – Totals panel: Shows Total Hours, Total Spent, and Billed Amount for your current filters. – Details table: When permitted, each row shows Spent and Billed next to Time so you can compare by project, date, member, client, or task (based on group‑by). – Export: Download your filtered report to Excel.

  • Dashboard
  • – Financial summary: “Total Spent” and “Total Billed” cards for your selected date range. – Uninvoiced cards: Quick totals for “Uninvoiced to clients” and “Uninvoiced from team,” with links to the corresponding reports.

    Filters and grouping #

  • Date range: Analyze any period.
  • Group by: Project, Date, Member, Client, or Task (affects how totals are shown in the table and chart).
  • Projects, Members, Clients: Narrow down to the exact scope you need.
  • Reset: Restore defaults in one click.
  • Multi‑currency support #

  • If your team logs time in multiple currencies, you’ll see per‑currency sums.
  • An approximate total in your team’s base currency is shown for quick comparison.
  • Profitability checks #

  • Compare Spent vs. Billed by project, client, member, or task using the group‑by and table totals.
  • Use the Reports export to share or analyze profitability outside the app.
